ThaiHealth welcomes study visit group from Faculty of Education, University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA

ThaiHealth – May 19, 2022 — Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth) welcomed a study visit group from the, University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA. The delegation included faculty members and students in various fields of health such as medicine, nursing, public health, and pharmacy.

The delegation has been introduced to an overview of ThaiHealth and its operations. They were also engaged in information exchange with ThaiHealth on health promotion for both Thailand and the United States, as well as a tour of Thai Health Learning Centre building to have an exposure to health-related experiences in various dimensions, including physical, intellectual, mental, and social aspects, as well as other services such as the Information Centre, Demonstration Vegetable Plantations, Health Check-Up Facility, and SOOK Canteen, for the general public to take part and to help them realise the importance of good health.

The study visit is one of ThaiHealth's strategies aimed at building good relationships between ThaiHealth and foreign organisations. It is useful in disseminating the work on health promotion of Thailand and promoting ThaiHealth as one of the most important International Learning Hub for Health Promotion.
