November 10, 2008, a group from Laos visited ThaiHealth to learn and share information on tobacco control laws. The group consisted of eleven Laotians from Office of the Prime Minister, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Public Health and non-governmental organizations. As part of the visit, the group also planned to establish the Laotian health promotion fund.
